Hike Alerce Andino

Interpretative Hike National Park Alerce Andino

The National Park Alerce Andino is located between mountains, volcanoes and the Pacific Ocean. This full day excursion will take us along the coast through the beginning of the Carretera Austral. We will hike for approximately 5 hours inside the park, surrounded by the exuberant temperate rainforest, including the old Alerce trees (Fitzroya Cupressoides). The transformation during millions of years of these mountains created a landscape full of rivers, waterfalls and lagoons.

During the drive to the park we will make stops at local villages along the road and to admire the ocean view of the first fjord of Patagonia.
