Chile & Argentina: From the Atlantic to the Pacific

Across the Andes: From the Atlantic to the Pacific

There are two countries that share the longest natural border in the world: the Andes range. These mountains are the line that connect very diverse ecosystems and separate the rich coast of Chile dominated by the Humboldt Current from the Patagonian steppe and the Atlantic coast of Argentina, a paradise of sea mammals and birds. These two countries have a diversity of over 1000 species of birds with very unique ecosystems as one of the last temperate rainforest of the world, home of the endemics Tapaculos and the Magellan Woodpecker, and the wild and dry Patagonian steppe with great scenarios to spot the legendary Andean Condor, a good number of raptors and a diverse range of specialties. While we reach the Atlantic coast we will be amazed by the great opportunities to observe sea mammals as close as just looking at them from the shore of the sea.
